User Agreement

Also known as “Terms of Service” – Effective date: 07 September 2025

1) Who we are

WeeBro (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by [Your legal entity name], registered at [Your address]. Contact: support@weebro.app.

2) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using WeeBro, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use WeeBro on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3) Eligibility & accounts

4) Safety & non-emergency notice

WeeBro is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 999/112 or your local emergency number. Information on WeeBro is community-sourced and may be inaccurate, incomplete or delayed. Always prioritise your safety and follow guidance from authorities.

5) What WeeBro does

WeeBro helps people share and view nearby incident alerts (e.g., hazards, disruptions) for situational awareness. Incidents usually expire automatically to keep the feed current.

6) Location & device permissions

If you grant location permission, we use it to show nearby incidents and to improve relevance. You can disable location in your device/browser settings, but some features may be limited.

7) Your content & licence to us

“User Content” includes the incidents you post (category, description, approximate location/address, optional image), votes, quick comments, and any feedback you provide. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display and distribute your User Content as necessary to operate, improve and promote WeeBro. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except to the extent it has been shared with others who haven’t deleted it, or where we’re required to keep it by law.

You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to post your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

8) Community guidelines

9) Prohibited uses

10) Moderation & removals

We may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or our guidelines, or that we reasonably believe may harm users or the service. We may also remove stale/duplicate incidents to keep the feed useful.

11) Third-party services

WeeBro uses third-party providers such as Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, storage) and Google Maps Platform. Your use of WeeBro may therefore be subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

12) Changes & availability

WeeBro may change or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; if we do, we will change the date at the top and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

13) Disclaimers

WeeBro is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee accuracy or availability of any content or features.

14) Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of WeeBro. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

15) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless WeeBro and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of WeeBro or your violation of these Terms.

16) Termination

You may stop using WeeBro at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or we reasonably believe your use risks harm to others or to WeeBro.

17) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise. If you reside elsewhere in the UK/EEA, you may have additional mandatory rights.
